In a world full of evil and tragedy, one could question the existence of a loving God. But there is God. But if there is, then why all the evil and tragedy we see?

This question is answered in Deuteronomy 30:19 where God says 'I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live'. God created us with choice so we would be willing worshipers and not robots. The consequence and relevance of choice is in the existence of options. So if there was to be good there had to be the option of evil. Hence the evil seen in the world is the result of choice and not the doing of God or the proof of the absence of God. But God did not stop at simply giving us choice but went on to tell us what to choose. God was saying if you choose my pathway then you will have eternity secured and steadily exit the influence of the evil of the world.

There is a God who loves you. He is a God of loving-kindness and justice. Because of His Justice He will not violate the choices of men or arbitrarily exonerate men of the consequences of their actions but because of His loving kindness, He paid the price for man's sin through the sacrifice of Jesus and thereby created a way out by the acceptance of this most precious gift.

Invitation to salvation

So even today and right now, He is inviting you into salvation. 'Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion...' - Hebrews 3:7,8

He is saying that He has created the good life in the kingdom of His dear son for you if you will accept him.

'For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation'. - Romans 10:10
