One Flesh is the arm of the *HOTR London Lighthouse that ministers to couples, encouraging and promoting the importance of building strong marriages which mirror the relationship between Christ and the Church, by facilitating opportunities for insightful fellowship with other Christian couples.

Marriage is the foundation for the family and the bedrock of society and according to Ephesians 5, it is the mirror that reflects the love of Christ for the church and the love the church has for Christ. Marriage is to reflect that glorious relationship. It is an astonishing thought that every Christian marriage is to portray the love of Christ for the Church and vice versa. This is a great mystery! The question is: “Can our children say to the unbeliever that Christ’s love for the church and the church’s love for Christ is something like their mother and father’s love for each other?” The Christian marriage is to radiate the amazing and sacrificial love of Christ, and the all-responsive love of the church towards Christ. Divine love is to permeate the Christian home, and this is why none should enter marriage casually and without counselling, but prayerfully, thoughtfully and wisely, considering the purposes for which marriage was instituted.

The fellowship meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month between the hours of 3pm and 5pm. Gbenga (Sweet) & Funke Ayodele are the co-ordinators of this ministry.
